Egg Nog Protein Drink
* 1/2 tsp ground allspice
* 1 graham cracker
* 1 package of your favorite meal replacement or protein powder
* 16 ounces of water
Pineapple Energy Drink
* 1 cup unsweetened pinapple juice
* 1/2 cup canned pineapple chucks
* 2 heaping tbsp high protein powder
* 2 tsp wheat germ oil
* 1 tsp honey
Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix well. Chill before drinking.
Protein Powder Pudding
* 1 Package of fat free instant pudding
* 1/2 cup of protein
High Protein Cookies
* 1 cup of sugar
* 1 cup of honey
* 1 cup of of butter
* 2 eggs, beaten
* 1 tsp baking soda
* 1 tsp ginger
* 2 1/2 cup of protein powder
pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Cream sugar, honey and butter. Add eggs. Sift flour, baking soda, ginger and protein powder and add to other mixture. Drop by spoonfulls onto cookies sheet and bake until cookies are golden brown.
Brownies
* 1/2 cup of honey
* 1/2 cup of wheat germ oil
* 1/2 cup of protein powder
* 2 eggs, beaten
* 1 1/3 cups flour
* 1/3 cup of rice flour
* 1/2 cup chooped nuts
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
Blend honey, wheat germ oil and protein powder then gradually add eggs. Mix will, stir in flour. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. When cool, cut into squares and serve.
Happy Holiday Roll
* 1 cup protein powder
* 3/4 cup peanut butter
* 1/2 cup of honey
* 1/2 cup powdered milk
* 1 tbsp lowfat milk
* 1/3 cup chopped pineapple
* 1/3 cup chopped cherries
* 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Blend protein powder, peanut butter and honey in mixing bowl. Mix powdered milk and milk together until a smooth paste is formed. Then knead in pineapples, cherries, pecans. Roll out onto waxed paper about1 1/2 inches in diameter and about 1 foot long. Roll up in waxed paper and place in refrigerator 3 to 4 hours. Slice and serve.
Meat Loaf Surprise
* 1 1/2 pound ground beef or turkey
* 1 egg, beaten
* 2 tbsp chopped onion
* 1 tsp allspice
* 1 cup applesause
* 1/4 cup protein powder
Combine all ingredients. Pack into loaf pan and bake for one hour at 350 degrees.
Banana Bread
* 1 ripe banana
* 2 egg whites
* 1 Tbs equal
* 1 cup flour
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 2 tablespoons nonfat plain yogurt
* 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Beat egg whites with the sweetener utntil foamy. Mash the bananas. Add to egg whites and mix well with a wire whisk. Add remaining ingredients with just enough water to produce a stiff batter. Spray loaf pan with cooking spray and add batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Calories: 550, Protein: 30g
Wheat Tortillas
* 6 cups wheat flour
* 1 cup shortening
* 4 teaspoons baking powder
* 3 teaspoons salt
* water as needed
Combine ingredients until a soft dough is formed. Grease skillet. Cook tortillas until brown spots appear. Store in Tupperware container to keep them soft.
Chicken Enchilada Casserole
* 1 10 ounce can mushroom soup
* 1/3 cup of milk
* 2 6 ounce piece of chicken
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon garlic salt
* 12 corn tortillas
* vegetable oil
* 1 4 ounce can chopped green chili
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
Combine soup and milk. Cook and drain chicken; add salt and garlic salt. Fry tortillas until soft in 1 1/2 inches vegetable oil, using medium high heat of suface unit. Drain. Layer ingredients in a 2 quart casserole dish starting with tortillas. Pour sauce over entire dish, cover, and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
